Teacher Notes

Anger can be fair or unfair (see Instructional Content) Sometimes the person who is angry with you is so angry they "can't be reasoned with." Sometimes, what needs to happen first is for the angry person to go through a "cooling off period before the conflict can be discussed. The COOL response to use when someone is so angry with you that they won't listen is "Take A Break" and once they’re ready, "Talk It Over."
