Students will:
- Identify what anger is and why people become angry.
- Understand the difference between fair and unfair anger from others.
- Identify the negative effects of HOT and COLD responses to anger from others.
- Identify the LOOKING and THINKING characteristics of a COOL response to anger from others.
- Understand how the ACTING COOL response of "Accept/ Apologize/Makeup" can be an effective response to fair anger from others (Click here. Anger/Other Reaction Summary for COOL response.)
- Recall and model the three steps of the BeCool response to fair anger from others: LOOK COOL, THINK COOL and ACT COOL using the "Accept/Apologize/Makeup" process
- Understand how the ACTING COOL response of "Checking It Out" can affect the outcome of a problem situation.
