The materials needed to administer this test are: a test manual for the examiner, answer sheets and a supply of #2 lead pencils with erasers for the examinees. The test should be administered in a room free of distractions and interruptions.
Pass out the answer sheets and have the examinees write their names on them. As in the "Interactions with Supervisors" test, all instructions to the examiner are in boldface type, and should not be read aloud. Two sample items are given so that examinees can be reacquainted with the test format.
Say: Now we will do the second part of the test about getting along with other people at work. I will read some common problems that occur with people at work, and you should choose the best answer to each problem. First, write your name on the front of your answer sheet. PAUSE.
Practice Test
Say: Now, let's do two practice questions like those on the test. Remember, I will read a problem and three answers twice. You circle the letter which goes with the best answer. If you think answer 'a' is the best, circle 'a. If you think answer 'b' is best, circle 'b. If you think answer 'c' is best, circle 'c Are there any questions?
