Materials: Picture Cards 18 and 19
Procedure:
- Read Picture Cards 18 and 19 and go over discussion questions.
- Deciding What To Do. Divide the class into two teams. Read each of the following situations one at a time to each team. Have them decide as a small group what the boy should do in each case. For each one they answer appropriately they get a point. The team that gives the most answers that are sensible wins.
- A boy is sitting at his desk at school and suddenly has an erection. (Stay seated. No one will probably notice since he is sitting down.)
- A boy has an erection when he is about to get in the lunch line in the cafeteria. (Go to the restroom. Hold his coat in front of himself for a minute.)
- A boy has an erection when he is at a school dance. He's just standing alone along the side of the wall. (Sit down for a moment.)
- A boy is at home alone watching TV when he has an erection. (He is not in public, so he doesn't need to do anything.)
- A boy has an erection when he is standing by the side of the pool. (Jump in.)
- A boy has an erection when he is at the movies. (He can continue watching the movie because no one can see the erection.)
- A boy is in front of the class in the classroom and he has an erection. (Ask to be excused. Stand behind the lectern.)
