Ask students to tell each other in groups of twos or threes of times they've felt frustrated. Ask them to tell how they handled it and how they would do it differently today.
For students with mild or moderate challenges:
Put up copies of the Teaching Icons (see "Appendix") and the three figures that correspond to them on the bulletin board. Ask students to cut out pictures from magazines of people who are COLD, HOT, and COOL and pin them on the board next to the appropriate icon.
