Students will:
- identity negative consequences of HOT and COLD responses to self-anger due to misunderstanding a Situation.
- identify the LOOKING, THINKING, AND ACTING elements of a COOL response io self anger.
- Demonstrate understanding of why the COOL response of Check It Out can be an effective response to self-anger due to misunderstanding a situation.
- Identify the benefits of using the BeCool response to self-anger.
- Recall and model the three steps of the BeCool response to self-agree: LOOK COOL, THINK COOL and ACT COOL using the "Check It Our" process.
- Identify additional courses of action that are available if the BeCool response doesn't work.
Optional Objectives:
- Recognize the perceptual-cognitive styles of HOT, COLD and COOL responses to self anger
