Students will:
- Identify negative consequences of HOT and COLD responses to bullying in the form of sexual harassment.
- Identify the LOOKING, THINKING AND ACTING elements of a COOL response to sexual harassment and other bullying
- Demonstrate understanding of why the COOL response of "Talk the Talk" (Ask to Stop) using the 4-Step Assertion Plan and Walk the Walk" (Get Help if necessary) can be an effective response to sexual harassment and other bullying.
- Identify the four steps of the 4-Step Assertion Plan.
- Identify benefits of using the BeCool response to sexual harassment and other bullying.
- Recall and model the three steps of the BeCool response to sexual harassment and other bullying: LOOK COOL, THINK COOL and ACT COOL using the "Talk the Talk" (Ask to Stop) and "Walk the Walk" (Get Help if necessary) process.
Optional Objectives:
- Recognize the perceptual cognitive styles of HOT, COLD and COOL responses to sexual harassment and other bullying.
