Students will:
- Identify negative consequences of HOT and COLD responses to invalid or unfair criticism.
- Identify the LOOKING, THINKING, AND ACTING elements of a COOL response to invalid or unfair criticism.
- Demonstrate an understanding of why the COOL response of "Explain Your Side" can be effective when presented with invalid or unfair criticism.
- Identify the benefits of using the BeCool response to invalid or unfair criticism.
- Recall and model the three steps of the BeCool response to invalid or unfair criticism: LOOK COOL, THINK COOL, and ACT COOL using the "Explain Your Side" process.
- Identify additional courses of action that are available if the BeCool response doesn't work.
