Students will:
- Identify what criticism is and why people criticize.
- Distinguish valid criticism from invalid criticism.
- Identify negative consequences of HOT and COLD responses to unclear criticism.
- Identify the LOOKING, THINKING AND ACTING elements of a COOL response to unclear criticism.
- Demonstrate understanding of why the COOL response of "Ask to Clarify/Accept" can be effective when presented with unclear criticism.
- Identify benefits of using the BeCool response to unclear criticism.
- Recall and model the three steps of the BeCool response to unclear criticism: LOOK COOL, THINK COOL and ACT COOL using the "Ask to Clarify/Accept" process.
- Identify additional courses of action that are available if the BeCool response doesn't work.
Optional Objectives:
