  1. Boy/Girl asks someone out and is rejected.
  2. One student acts zany and it is accepted. When another student imitates the behavior, he or she is rejected.
  3. Trying to be a friend when someone has a problem, but that friend wants advice from someone else.
  4. New baby in family: student feels rejected by parents.
  5. One person has new music that one friend likes but another friend does not.
  6. Wanting to do a particular project for class but it is not approved by the teacher.
  7. Having a scheduled performance or activity and it gets canceled or postponed.
  8. Thought not to be good enough to play in a game.
